Been off work this week, so no new driving stories. But a thought occurred to me when I heard about the extent of speed cameras on Nottingham's ring road. I'm terrified of picking up a speeding ticket, but I want to make sure I don't hold anybody up by driving too slowly and I want to get to my destination as soon as possible. As a result, I find I'm watching my speedometer much more than normal. I would love to know just how much more of an accident risk that causes. Sure, with cameras around the impacts are at lower speeds. But are there more of them?

I'm heading for Cornwall later today, and I'll be back on Monday. A 660+ mile round trip should generate something to write about, I'm sure....
