I'm kind of at a loss for something to say.
Columbia was a part of my history. I remember being one of about six people who went back into school at lunchtime to watch that first launch back in April 1981, and I've remembered that event every time I've heard Columbia mentioned. I've been remembering it a lot today. The coming days will bring more details of what exactly caused the shuttle to break up, and eventually NASA will start to fly again. At least I hope so. It would be a poor memorial for the seven lost Astronauts if they don't.
